Peer-reviewing process:
The peer-review of the articles submitted to the journal involves two stages: initial and independent.
Initial peer-review involves the editors conducting a primary assessment of the manuscript to ensure its alignment with the subject matter and journal requirements. If a manuscript fails to meet our editorial criteria and publication standards, it may be rejected before entering the independent peer-review stage.
Furthermore, during the independent peer-review process, the manuscript undergoes a double-blind review, meaning that neither the authors nor the peer-reviewers are aware of each other’s identities. Two blind peer-reviewers, consisting of both members of the editorial board and external experts, evaluate the manuscript. The final selection of peer-reviewers is determined by the editorial board. It is imperative that peer-reviewers possess expertise in the subject area of the manuscript, are not affiliated with the authors’ institution, and have not collaborated on recent publications with any of the manuscript’s authors.
